Volcano: Turner to Warhol

Compton Verney, Warwickshire, UK
Curator: James Hamilton

I was delighted to show a new version of ‘Iddu’ in this comprehensive international show to explore the history of human perception of volcanoes which featured works from New York, Paris, Rome, Reykjavik, Naples, Copenhagen, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Oxford and London.. I re-edited ‘Iddu‘ as a dual screen work, placing the screens in a corner of the gallery at right angles to each other. The new edit included unseen footage from the main 12 screen installation. The work was extremely well received generating alot of press commentary with journalists even breaking down in tears!
